my goal for this summer is to increase my physical fitness. i am preparing for marching band and marching snare drums are not light in weight. i need to focus on increasing my leg and shoulder strength. i am looking for different types of exercises i can use. if anybody knows any please comment. i also want to increase my skills in math because i am looking into a career of computers and engineering. lastly, i would like to swim one lap in the pool without tiring myself out to quickly.
Wow, you carry a snare drum in marching band? Awesome! I think swimming will help your upper-body strength. I would also suggest lifting weights if you have them (or making them out of things you have around the house). Also, stretching your arms and back everyday will help (let me know if you need stretching ideas). Good luck on your goals, Athena!
